Kombucha!

Alright guys, consider me your guinea pig for items sold at Place and Markets across campus. I am happy to report that my curiosities have led me to discover an incredibly unusual find...

One word: Kombucha!

Kombucha is a tea that is made by fermenting a culture of microorganisms...yum?

Well, if you've ever tried sparkling apple cider, and thought it could use a little more cider, then Kombucha is the tea for you! It has a taste and smell resembling vinegar, but there's also a tangy flavor that leaves your mouth watering for more!

G.T.'s Kombucha sold on campus is a living culture of beneficial microorganisms - some liken it to fermentation - where it is cultured for 30 days. This allows for essential nutrients to form; active enzymes and viable probiotics. It is a tunic to an ill stomach or a even a sickness, as it can strengthen your immune system. Kombucha can be found in every market place on campus. They are well-equipped with all your cultured drink needs.

Follow that urge to drink up because these unique teas are loaded with probiotics that aid:
  • Digestion
  • Metabolism
  • Immune System
  • Appetite control
  • Weight Control
  • Liver Function
  • Body Alkalinity
  • Anti-Aging
  • Cell Intergrity
  • Healthy Skin and Hair
So check out some of the varieties of these colorfully labeled teas next time you're cruising the aisles of your nearest Place and Market. The most variety can be found in Roger's Place and Goody's!

So far I've tried Trilogy, Mystic Mango, Raspberry Rush, and Gingerberry. Enticed yet?
Act on it : )

(Jessica suggests Mystic Mango because it is less acidic than others).
